My research activity is focused on the issue of typical and atypical development of aggressive behavior throughout the life span.

Traditional research topics include the study of bullying and cyberbullying and the evaluation of the effectiveness of anti-bullying interventions (such as the KiVa and the Notrap anti-bullying programs).

More recently, new lines of investigation concern studies on the moderation of effectiveness of interventions starting from individual characteristics such as Highly Sensitive Child (HSC) and temperament.
