Danielle de Kerckhove

(Dr)

Expertise

As part of my doctoral training, I undertook a piece of research with children (aged between 9 and 14 years old) and their parents/carers exploring the experience of high environmental sensitivity within UK-based educational settings.

I used qualitative research methods (i.e., virtual semi-structured interviews and Reflexive Thematic Analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2021)) enabling identification of several actionable outcomes relating to how children and young people, who experience high environmental sensitivity, may best be supported within educational settings.
