Kirsty Allan

(Ph.D Student)

Expertise

I am currently undertaking PhD research in consciousness studies, exploring potential correlations between aspects of high sensitivity (e.g. empathy, sensory processing sensitivity), altered states of consciousness and psi phenomena.

My background spans both postgraduate mental health certification (and practice in the NHS and privately) and also trans-personal and para-psychological research.

In my current research at Northampton, we are utilising floatation as a means of both exploring the nature of states of consciousness, psi phenomena and the personal experience of participants. I also host a group for persons wishing to explore personal development with a creative ethos, my group attracts those who exhibit clear SPS/HSP.
