Expertise

I am a professor of business psychology. Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) has recently become one of my research areas, besides work on the effects of job demands and resources on strain and motivation in the workplace, self-endangering work behaviour and the effects of autonomy and self-determination in the workplace. My most recent research focusses on the influence of SPS on work experience and work behaviour. I am specifically interested in the working (and work/living) conditions that enable highly sensitive persons to thrive in the workplace.
