Expertise

My research involves using a comparative approach across rodents and humans to examine how prenatal stress may program increased susceptibility to the quality of the postnatal environment.  I am particularly interested in biological mechanisms (e.g., epigenetic, stress physiology, microbiota) by which prenatal stress may lead to greater susceptibility.
