Antonios Christou

(Dr)

Expertise

My primary research interest is into understanding the complex neurocognitive mechanisms associated with affective functions and responses through the lifespan, by using cutting-edge techniques such as EEG and eye-tracking, along with biological and behavioural measures.

I am currently leading a research project at the University of Cyprus, Department of Psychology aiming to unveil the neurobiological underpinnings of Sensory Processing Sensitivity among different generations (i.e., early childhood, adolescence, and adulthood) that share the same environment.
