My research leverages knowledge from evolutionary biology and developmental science to better understand developmental adaptations to stress.

I focus on how our bio-behavioral systems (biological stress responses, timing of puberty, risky adolescent behavior and cognition) respond to specific features of family environments and the larger ecological context, including differential susceptibility.
