I am primarily interested in conducting qualitative research concerned with the socio-cultural experiences of highly sensitive persons. My dissertation research focuses on the identity development and gender socialization experiences of highly sensitive men. I am interested in intersectionality as it pertains to identifying as a highly sensitive person intersecting with other identities individuals may hold, including gender identity, sexual identity, and racial and ethnic identity.
