(Mrs)

Expertise

I am a clinical psychologist specialized in expatriation. As a doctoral student, I am looking into the temperamental trait called Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) and its role role in expatriated motherhood. More specifically, my research focuses on exploring how much this trait modulates both adaptation processes for women: adapting to the new country and to their new role as mothers.

Overall, the main goal of my Ph.D. is to create solid arguments that will hold up the need for psychological support for ex-pat families traveling around the globe and contribute to creating content for guidelines that will help professionals, private companies, international organizations, etc. to better understand the complexity of the interpersonal adaptation processes that occur during these transitions.
