(Dr)

Expertise

I am an early/mid-career interdisciplinary social science researcher with a BA in Geography/Environmental Studies and a PhD in Linguistics, specializing in (1) Endangered Languages and Revitalization and (2) Laboratory and Experimental Methods.

My current work with the Prevention Research Center focuses on environmental approaches to the prevention of drug and alcohol misuse and related problems. Although we focus primarily on environmental approaches to prevention, I am interested in understanding how environmental contexts and interventions may impact highly sensitive individuals differently from the general population. I have experience with qualitative and quantitative methods, geospatial analyses, data management, and archiving.
