I am a social neuroscientist specializing in human attachment processes including romantic love, sexuality, and empathy; sensory processing sensitivity; and yoga/meditation.

My work  has been published in several widely-recognized articles on the Science of Love and being a Highly Sensitive Person, which have appeared in media outlets around the globe.

I am Editor of the Elsevier book, “The Highly Sensitive Brain” and  Editor for a Frontiers Journal special edition on, “The Science of Pair-bonding”.
