Dr Hailey Meaklim [BSc(Hons), Mpsych, PhD, DBSM] is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Psychologist in the John Trinder Sleep Laboratory at the University of Melbourne. Dr Meaklim’s research focuses on improving the translation of evidence-based sleep and insomnia treatments into mental healthcare.Her mission is to ensure that all healthcare providers receive basic training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to improve their clients’ sleep and mental health outcomes. She is also passionate about improving our understanding of insomnia, including the role of sensory processing sensitivity in developing and maintaining sleep problems.
