(PhD candidate at University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia)

I am a Tertiary Learning Advisor at Whitireia, New Zealand, and a PhD candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia and have been researching sensitivity in the education setting since 2014.

My initial research found that sensitive students thought that knowing about Environmental Sensitivity was empowering and useful for managing study, and life in general.

My current research is exploring how sensitivity impacts learning for tertiary students. It is hoped that this research will help to shed light on the education experience of sensitive tertiary students in the hope of harnessing the positive aspects of sensitivity for learning, and mitigating any possible negative impacts.
