Expertise

My doctorate investigated individualised sensory modulation approaches for emotional regulation involving autistic adolescents and their families but consider such approaches are also highly relevant for people with Sensory Processing Sensitivity. The research also looked at the challenges of implementing interventions in ‘real life’ contexts such as a mainstream secondary school. I am also investigating the educational experiences of people identifying with SPS and want to look at early intervention to facilitate ‘reasonable adjustments’ including environmental adaptations.
