Expertise

I am a PhD student from the University of Haifa and my research focuses on adolescents with high sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) and how this trait shapes their psychological functioning and coping strategies. As part of this work, I examine adolescents in the context of volunteering and resilience during periods of prolonged stress, such as wartime.

I investigate how SPS interacts with personality, motivation, and well-being, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. I also examine the role of family dynamics and parental perspectives, with the aim of informing interventions that recognize sensitivity as both a strength and a distinct developmental advantage.
